Sally Poltrock's arts practice is installation based, sculpturally exploring through a process based, ritualistic approach, the metaphoric potential of fabric, rust and paint.  Using  ‘The Obstacle’  as inspiration.  Along with her background in Haute Couture she intersects painting, sculpture and photography to track movements and motion while exploring connections to opposites, an internal/external dichotomy with often biomorphic outcomes.  While working in the studio it is a continual reflection on what Eva Hesse once said 'The complete absurdity of life' and how through art we can tell our stories.
